Can't seem to find them on the intel website. even though windows 7 works ok for me so far, i think i am still missing some things in the device manager. Have they announced when they will release them?

I have an Abit IP35-Pro P35 motherboard.

Does anything show up in device manager saying there aren't drivers installed? If not, and everything looks normal, then you probably aren't missing anything.

chipset drivers for pXX aren't necessary. they didn't release any drivers for vista either. the only chipset drivers needed are if you have elderly chipsets:

INF Update Utility - Primarily for Intel® 4, 3, 900 Series Chipsets
intel chipset downloads

those should definitely be packaged in from Intel in the Windows 7 release. You shouldn't have to worry about the latest drives since Intel does not support DirectX 11!

The Vista drivers work fine and will not be changed/modified uniquely for Win7 (Win7 and Vista SP2 share the exact same driver model/specs, with some limited exceptions). The installer will simply be made to recognize Win7 (if it doesn't already).

The only unidentified driver(s) I remember on the IP35 pro was for uguru. Everything else installed very cleanly.

Installed Win7 on my new Corei7 setup today- I didnt need any drivers as everything worked out of the box, nothing in device manager needs attending to :)
