Intel H110 or H170

Hey guys, Since I will be upgrading to a new PC, I have settled on a Skylake System, with an Intel I3 and a Sandisk Ultra II SSD. I am just not sure on the Chipsets to buy?. I am not a gamer but the computer is for browsing internet and a theater entertainment system. Also to future proof it as well? What do ya think?

I would go with the H170. Boards using it don't cost that much more then ones using the H110 chipset.
 
I was actually kind of curious, the only difference really besides the $6 is that the H110 doesn't have much in the way of PCIe lanes on the chipset. Could hurt the performance of the SSD I guess.
 
H110 also has single channel memory support instead of double and DMI2, not DMI3. For the extra $5 to $20, it's worth going to B150 at the very least, H170 if you want a little more flexibility.
 
H170 looks better if you plan more storage and other features.
Aslo H170 Hyper unlocks overclocking on non K CPUs 😀
 
I built a computer with Gigabyte H110N Mini-ITX motherboard. I did not use an SSD yet, and I am running it with a Hard Drive. I used 16 GB DDR4. It has an M.2 slot on the bottom of the board, and only 3 SATA slots. It has been running great.

I purchased it on sale at a Microcenter for $30 off with an i-3. That was a pretty good deal even after paying tax.
