Out of all the S478 Pentiums, which models and relative steppings are better overclockers?
I'm not really sure of all the steppings out there but from memory M0 for HT 800mhz models overclocks better than D1 models...?
Also, for the older models such as the 533mhz "B Northwood" models and the "A Willamette", what steppings are there for those models? And which are the good overclocking ones?
My 2.4B has C1 stepping which seems to be the most common and won't overclock well like someone else I know who hit 3.06ghz on his 2.4B. My 1.5 has D0 stepping which I'm curious as to the overclockability. I realise the older cores were 0.18 micron and won't be able to hit high clock speeds but just curious about the overclockability of the 1.5 with D0. I always thought it doesn't overclock but right now I'm interested in trying it on a different board which is actually capable of higher FSB unlike the crappy SIS chip it's currently hooked up to.
