Intel Graphics Resume from Standby Corruption

Mods, please move this if it should go in the Notebook section.

Anywho, I just installed a new SSD in my Dell Latitude XT2, and loaded Win 7 Pro 32-bit on it. The laptop has the Intel 4500MHD chipset, and on the stock drivers I've noticed the graphics corrupt when I resume from standby. See picture:

Note: The black bars were put in by me, the corruption is seen on the right corners of the Windows Explorer window. It also sometimes affects the Start button, task bar, and desktop gadgets. I fix it by switching color depth to 16-bit, then back to 32-bit, which forces a refresh of everything on the screen (and I'd guess in the graphics memory).

I've narrowed it down to the "Intel Graphics Render Standby Technology" option in the "Power Settings" menu of the driver options. Sure I can disable it, but I'd like my battery to last as long as possible. Therefore, obligatory "Intel graphics suck!" comments aside, has anyone heard of this and know a fix? I've been Googling for awhile now and haven't found anything.

Thanks,
Mr. K6
