Intel Gigabit MT "Server" Adapter Problem

I just installed one of these on a new Avid system (HP xv8200), and loaded the standard ProSET driver from Intel's site. The system appears to be taking quite a bit longer to bootup. I only installed the card as a standard gigabit connection to share files with other drives on a network. I could be wrong, but I think both Windows and BIOS bootup times have been affected...

- Are there any "server" features that this card might have on by default that I can disable?

- Anything anyone can think of that would be dealying bootup?

Try booting into the NIC's BIOS during a server reboot (Ctrl-A?). Make sure it' not trying to do a network boot or looking for a remote RIS Server. Intel has complete documentation on these adapters on its web site.
