Intel G4600 Kaby Lake - can't watch 4K60 videos on YouTube (VP9 codec) (Waterfox 53.0.1)

maybe test the igpu direct? i'd download the 4k video with freemake or keepvid and play the resulting video in mpc-hc. if that works you know it's just browser related.

I had the same problem with my G4620 , I solved it by going to run>msconfig>boot>advanced options>uncheck "number of processors ". For some reason unknown , it was set to boot on one processor .
