Intel feeling the hurt!

I think that everyone is almost every industry is feeling the hurt. Computer, electronics, automotive...you name it.

If you think it is AMD crushing Intel you really need to grow up!

And no, I'm not some Intel supporting freak. Got a Duron and a PIII system in the house and think they are both great.

Intel's stand on this &quot;recession&quot; gives me confidence. That's the fact that they are spending $12 billion on R&amp;D this year. As Gordon Moore says, &quot;You cannot save your way out of a recession.&quot;

I do want to point out that most of the &quot;5,000 jobs to be cut&quot;, are going to be through attrition and not layoffs.
