Intel "Extreme" 82830M - disable vsync?

Anyone know how to disable vsync with the Intel 830M integrated graphics?

I'm looking to use this Dell C400 for some ultra-portable Q3a and UT lan party lovin', but with UT I'm noticing a bit of mouse lag. I notice the same thing with my desktop (nVidia) card if vsync is not disabled in drivers, so I'm wondering if there is a way to disable vsync for the 830. Powerstrip doesn't seem to have an option for this.

TIA.

Look under peformance profiles in powerstrip. If the drivers support it it should be there.....
No matter what you do its gonna be sluggish with "Intel Extreme" though.

The performance profiles widow of power strip comes up with few options (with 830).

As far as performance goes, it's not that bad (for a 3.6lbs laptop). Granted I'm running at 640x480 with not much eyecandy, but during 6vs6 CTF play my min/ave FPS is about 30/60. It's mainly the slight mouse lag which is annoying.

I don't expect to play anything much more advanced than UT or Q3 though ...

hahah.

just found out that the vsync setting in UT d3d control panel is a toggle switch. i "turned it on" and now it's off!
