Intel DX79SI for Windows Server 2008

Iam planning on buying a new server for my office and I want to know that LGA2011 boards are compatible with Microsoft Windows 2008 / 2003 or not.
Can anyone confirm if someone has tried to install the drivers on windows 2008/2003 .
Also please recommend a good Server Motherboard.

What form of server? Desktop X79 (LGA-2011) boards aren't server boards. You probably want an LGA-1155 server board from Supermicro with IPMI, so you can manage it through a browser... Single-socket LGA-2011 server boards are not plentiful, and LGA-2011 Xeons are freaking expensive. The Ivy Bridge Xeons are pretty nice.

I ran an 1155 Xeon (E3-1275) for awhile, and it was a very, very fast system. Same CPU as a 2600K, but multiplier-locked with additional features enabled. Main reason to go LGA-2011 is maximizing core resources (16) and support for registered ECC memory.
