Intel Dual/Quad Core

Hey guys, just gathering info/opinions here.

With AMD X2 boxes, and Opterons, I apply the AMD dual-core optimizer/processor updates. But on my Intel boxes, I just run the hardware drivers (chipset/video/etc). Is there anything else I should be doing for optimization related to the dual/quad-core Intel cpus?

Intel processors dont need any optomization to run properly in XP.

Even the AMD driver isnt all that neccesary.
