intel DQ965GF BIOS update, no boot

Hi. I have an intel DQ965GF mobo, and I downloaded a bios updater from the intel's website. I followed the instructions, Downloaded the file, reset my pc. It updated the bios, it seemed to be everything OK. Then it reseted itself automatically again. But this time, it stopped at the first screen, with the intel logo, and it says: press F2 to Bios menu. It doesn't boot, and doesn't do anything.. If I try to press F2 or any other, it doesn't enter the bios.
Any Idea? Could i get back the old bios version? and how?

There's no response at all from the keyboard?... Ctrl+Alt+Del?... does it beep if you press a bunch of keys at once and hold them down?... maybe it's not recognizing your keyboard (especially USB).

I don't think you will be able to restore a previous BIOS unless there is some sort of automatic way of doing that, which would mean a USB key, or a Floppy... AND... a working keyboard so you can initiate the update.

If I were you, and using a different keyboard (preferably PS/2 if you are using USB, or USB if PS/2)... you could:

1. Reset the BIOS/CMOS... this generally isn't suggested just after an Update, but I've never actually had any problem with it... use the Clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard.

2. Disconnect anything that might prevent it from starting... pretty much just start going from easiest to hardest... SSD, HDS, ODD/CD, Video Card, RAM, etc, etc. testing after the removal of each one.

In case something went severely wrong, keep an eye on temperatures, especially if the fans aren't running.
