Hey guys,
This noise has been throwing me for a bit of a loop. I put this motherboard into a Lian-Li PC-7B Plus II case, which includes two 12cm case fans. The computer boots and runs fine when the case fans are plugged directly into the power supply using fan adapters, but then the fans are running at a very high speed and are obnoxious enough for me to want to change them. When I plug them into the motherboard fan headers, they spin at a much quieter speed (yay!), but I start hearing a clicking noise which only stops when I unplug the case fans again. Stopping the various fans within the case (processor, video card, power supply, front case fan, rear case fan) one at a time doesn't have any effect on the noise. Does anyone have any idea what this noise means or what I can do to make it go away?
