Intel DG965WH Motherboard supports Quad Core?

I know this issue has been somewhat addressed except for Intel motherboards. I keep reading about how Intel P965/G965 boards will be able to support the new Kentsfield Quad Cores, but no one mentions anything about Intel's boards. According to Intel's website, the P965 chipset does not have Quad Core support listed, so what does this mean?

Link to Intel's Chipset Specs: http://indigo.intel.com/compare_cpu/sho...4,999999,143&familyID=10&culture=en-US

Thanks

Hi,

It means nothing at all, because

1. We know that the 965 chipset deos support Quad cores

2. Intel varuiously includes the Quad cores in the C2D Extreme category (which their 965 mobos do support) and splits the Quad core intop a separate category; so the answer depends on which bit of their website you look at.

I've asked Intel tek-support about this. No response so far.
