Intel Data Migration software, new SSD, and WTF?

I just got my Intel 510 120GB installed and used Intel's data migration software to move my installation over to my SSD.

I don't even know where to begin panning this software...

My old HDD is still the boot disk, the system disk, and the location of the page file. WTF? I thought the point of the migration software to to move everything over, but it appear that my computer is still using the HDD drive for a bunch of mission critical stuff.

I have a lot of software that will require a lot of configuration if I have to install windows fresh. Any advice on how to prevent that?

Thanks.

Go into the system BIOS and tell it to use the SSD as the first boot device. Or, if you don't plan to use the old drive in this system any more, disconnect it so that the BIOS will only look at the SSD as a possible boot device.
