OK, so I'm thoroughly stumped here. For a while now I've had a setup as follows: a 74gb Raptor as my system drive, a pair of 320gb Seagate drives, and a 640gb WD drive. These are all plugged into the ICH7R controller.
Now I'd like to enable RAID 0 on the two 320s. This worked fine under XP. I am now running Vista Ultimate x64.
When, in the BIOS, I set the "configure SATA as" option to RAID, Vista bluescreens and reboots the PC a couple seconds after the Windows loading screen appears. Any other setting ("IDE" and "AHCI" are my choices) works fine, it's only when I attempt to set up RAID that it explodes. I didn't even actually configure the array yet.
I'm pulling my hair out. Your help is solicited.
