intel d875pbz not reading SPD on my crucial DIMMs

I bought two sticks of PC3200 Crucial RAM for my old motherboard - an ASUS P4S533. The old motherboard started to die, so I replaced it with an Intel D875pbz. (I updated to the latest BIOS available on the intel website).

For some reason, the intel board will only run the RAM at 133/266. If I try to manually set the RAM timings, the BIOS pops up a message about an invalid SPD reading or something.

Do I need to buy new RAM?

thanks...

What processor are you running on this board? I've personally owned this board in the past with a 3.2GHz P4 and Crucial PC3200 without any problems in regards to SPD timings/settings.

Then wouldn't 133 be right? 4x133 = 533MHz FSB

Remember the Quad-pump bus feature of the P4s?

My chip was a 800MHz FSB, so I remember 200MHz being in the BIOS. If your chip is 533, then I would think 133 would be right...unless I'm overlooking something.
