Intel D875PBZ Mainboard - RAID0 Array Causes Solid HDD LED

Hey everyone! I just recently setup a new rig that uses the Intel D875PBZ motherboard with 2x160GB Seagate drives. Now, when I use the drives individually (RAID disabled), the HDD LED blinks and flickers like normal. However, last night I setup the drives as a RAID0 array and now the HDD LED stays solid all of the time in Windows, but I know the harddisks aren't being accessed all of the time.

Do I need to connect the HDD LED header to another spot on the motherboard when using the onboard RAID function? Perhaps to the 'SCSI LED' header?

I'd just like some input/experience/thoughts before I go opening my case.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Don't know if this would help, but when I had a Promise Raid card in my machine, I would get solid lights when I connected it to the "A" header or "B" header. When I straddled both, I got my flicker...
