I have one stick of 256mb 3200 DDR memory in each channel of my motherboard.

When my computer posts it says: DDR 333 operating in dual-page mode.

I would think that it's supposed to run at 400

Then i go into bios and it detects the sticks as 400.

So then i go into chipset settings and specify that i want the modules to run at 400.

I save. Restart. It posts.

THen it says: DDR 266 operating in dual-page mode.

What's going on?

I inquired intel. they said that the timings have to be 2-3-3-6.

I tried setting them to that and all it did was go to DDR 266 also.
