Hey,
I have a new system in my office with the d850mv board from Intel running WinXP Pro. That system is logging into a NT4 Server (Svc Pk 6). The problem was that the network connection was dropping frequently. On the flipside when the system was logged into our Internet network (seperate network entirely) it worked great... never missed a beat.
After much tinkering, cussing, and a mainboard exchange the problem was finally fixed by sticking an el cheapo Linksys LNE100TX card in the system and disabling the onboard NIC all together.
Have any of you run into a similar problem before?
