I have that D815EEA mobo, I have 2 sticks of 128MB Corsair PC133 in it now. I have read that the last slot won't except a double sided DIMM, are my sticks of 128MB Corsair double or single sided ? What kind of memory will work there ?

Thanks !

I've got the same MB...with 512 MB of ram...1 256 module and two 128s...pc133 of course...and no problems whatsoever.

Then again, I haven't looked to see if any of them are double sided or not...I think the 128s are single and the 256 is double.

The 815(e) chipset only sopports 4 banks of PC133 SDRAM offically. A double-sided dimm (has mem chips on both sides) takes up 2 banks and a single-sided (mem chips on one side) takes up one. So, if you have double-sided dimms you can only install 2 and have it work correctly. Now, Asus has been able to get 3 double-sided dimms to work correctly in their board with the 815(e) chipset but it does not offically support it though. Now, if your dimms are single-sided you can mix and match them with double-sided dimms until you hit the limit of 4 banks.
