Would anyone else find it extremely useful to get a dedicated thread to boards that officially support Core2 CPU's going?

I'm currently stuck deciding between AM2 and a Core2 compatible upgrade. I have the AM2 platform figured out but the Intel side is like a foreign language to me currently.

What I would propose is a thread, perhaps stickier that would list all the current boards that support Core2 as well as the pros and cons of current and upcoming chipsets.

Thoughts?
