Intel Core 2 Duo ok with Windows XP Home?

Are there any limitations regarding multi core CPUs and Windows XP Home? A guy I'm building a system for has XP home and I'd hate to make him upgrade to Pro to get the most out of the CPU.

Home supports 1 physical cpu, while pro supports 2 physical cpu's.
Dual core still counts as 1 cpu.

You can have as many cores as you can buy, so long as they fit into one physical chip in one physical socket.
