Newegg prices were orginally higher last week when i placed an order with a different supplier, the e6400 was listed at 300$. Most of those prices were based on items that were out of stock at the time, and listed as auto- notify on the various c2d processors. Since then prices dropped by about 10-20% on the various processors.

People are complaining about supply and demand, yet as soon as something is available they rush out and go buy it, then complain that they spent to much for it.
