Intel Core 2 Duo 945 boards

I'm looking to build a cheap Conroe system and I'm wondering how these boards will overclock. The one I'm looking is a Gigabyte GA-945P-S3. I'll buy either a E6300 or E6400 to go with it and some DDR2 800. What's the highest front side bus speed can you get with the 945 boards?

Good question, we just received several 945 boards both "G" and "P" versions. The Epox looks like the front runner so far but I have not overclocked it too far yet.

I read that the 945 boards were very old. Was it a good overclocker with the old Pentiums?

Gigabyte pisses me off.. Thie GA-8I945GZME-RH says "Support Intel® Core? 2 Duo* / Pentium® D Processor", then a bit lower it says "* Duo to 945GZ express chipset specification, 8I945GZME-RH can only support up to FSB800MHz".

So yea, it runs C2D, @ 800FSB only. :|
