The Z390 and the rest of 300-series chipsets will support Coffee Lake (CFL) and Cannon Lake (CNL) CPUs, according to Intel document.

The document also revealed Cannon Lake and Coffee Lake series (HEDT) designed for X399 chipset. Intel was expected to skip this codename as it was already taken by AMD for the first-generation Threadripper.

The file would, therefore, suggest that both Z390 and X399 are coming soon, likely around Computex, as we previously speculated.

SX suffix next to X399 stands for Skylake-X cpus only. Does this mean we can drop in these cpus in X399 motherboards aswell ?

I wonder where does Cascade Lake-X fit into this development.

Is this sign the 8c ringbus moonbogg edition is comming soon?

Yes, there will be an 8 core ring bus Moonbogg edition. You're welcome. Z390 only though. Sorry, you don't get to waste your money on quad channel ram this time. You can thank AMD for that one.
