An interesting event is that next year Intel will launch no new chipsets for dual processor systems based on Pentium 4 and Pentium III. So, the company has left this sector of the market for other manufacturers:
For dual CPU systems based on Pentium 4 (Foster) a new ServerWorks GC-HE chipset is to be released. An approximate release date is Q2 2001.
For dual CPU systems based on Pentium 3(Tualatin) ServerWorks HE-SL and Micron Copperhead chipsets will be meant. Their planned release date is the same as that for ServerWorks GC-HE.
And only in Q1 2001 Intel will launch its code-named chipset Plumas for dual processor systems based on Pentium 4(Foster).
For dual CPU systems based on Pentium 4 (Foster) a new ServerWorks GC-HE chipset is to be released. An approximate release date is Q2 2001.
