Does anyone know if or When Intel will be releasing a Motherboard Chipset that supports DDR 400 or even 333?

You can do it today.

845D/E/G
150 FSB, 3:4 mem ratio = DDR400

845G only
160 FSB 4:5 ratio = DDR400

Not all mobos can do it though.

Yes, but as fr officalDDR 400 support, probably never. DDR400 will likely never be ratified as a JDEC standard, and thus Intel wilkl never support it.

The 845G unofficially supports 333 now, in October intel will release the 845 PE and GE which will officially support 333. I don't think it will be any different than the E ang G. Next year Intel will be releasing the Granite Bay and Springdale chipsets and they will have official dual-channel DDR333 support and AGP 8X. Later, maybe late 2003 or early 2004, Intel will have a DDR-II chipset.
