Intel Chipset Modem

I'm running a AMD Tbird with Epox 8KTA3+ mobo and for some reason the computer doesn't detect my cheap modem. On the box, it says Intel chipset, does that mean it won't with my current set up? I'm running Win2k....

Thanks,
Simon

Even though your modem has an Intel chipset, it should still work with your AMD system...

The reason it does not detect is probably due to win2k instead... try searching if there's win2k drivers for your modem...
