my friend is using biostar i915-PCIED, and he want to upgrade his processor to intel E2140. does this motherboard support for this proc?

and i noticed he has a pair of PCI-Express slot. is this mean that his mobo can run SLI/Crossfire ?

thanks

No. Core 2 Duo / Pentium Dual-Core requires Voltage Regulator-Down (VRD) 11.0 that was released in June 2006 (915 was released in June 2004!).

No, only Nvidia chipsets run SLi and Crossfire needs P35 or X38 AFAIK. Are they PCIE x1 slots or whole length PCIE x16 slots?

whole length pcie x16.

are you sure this mobo doesn't support dual core ?
because i have pentium 2,66ghz Dual core with fsb533, and this mobo support up to fsb800.
what will happen if i run this 2,66 DC on this mobo ?
