Intel Budget Build - For gaming/crunching.

I game sometimes, BF2, wanting to play quakewars, and I crunch for seti.

im selling my old rig to my friend for bestbuy credit, 350 - I figure ill pick up a 8800 GTS and if i have anything left ill just get a movie or something.

So 8800 GTS -

Suggestions for everything else, Id like to go q6600 ect, but I just cant, Id like to finish off the rest of the computer for 500 or less.

Im 90% stuck on intel.

p35 chipset... like a ga-p35-ds3r or p5k vanilla or abit ip35-e

i would look at something like an e6550, e6750... etc...

some ddr2-800 ram...

do u plan on overclocking?
if so, you will need to look at some cooling solutions....

That still leaves you $230 for case/psu/hd/etc which is much more than you really need. If there's any extra you might go for better cpu or upgraded cooling.
