Intel BOXDX58SO review?

Been a fan of Intel boards since had to RMA some of the others. I couldn't find a review of BOXDX58SO though. It's Intel's i7 board. One of my biggest question is if it supports SLI or just Crossfire.

It is a solid board that can oc my 920 to 4.5g bootable to windows and 4.2g prime stable on air cooling.

Don't know many people that are fans of Intel boards. Well they get the job done at least. The short answer to your question is yes.

I know many people that are fans of intel boards. They're not the best over clockers, but they are typically one of the most stable boards you can get. If you need reliability and longevity, Intel is the way to go. If you want to push the limits of your CPU, not so much.

If you goodle DX58so and overclock, you should be able to find a couple of reviews (execpt the ones from newegg).

I don't like that they don't use all solid state capacitors and that they only have 4 slots for RAM.

I agree with you. But for some people like me, 3x2gb memory is more than enough and I don't expect myself keeping this mobo over 2 years, it is a good mobo. I probably migrate to I55 next year.

It now supports both. You need to search for "DX58SO" and not "BOXDX58SO."
