Intel Boards With X38 Chipsets

From what I understand, companies like Asus will soon have X38 boards available for sale. But what about Intel brand boards with the X38 chipset? When will we see those? I can't find any info on the Intel site or anywhere else about Intel brand X38's. I'm asking not because I plan to buy an Intel with an X38, but because I'm planning on buying one of the D975X "Bad Axe 2" boards and I assume that the price of the Bad Axe boards will drop when Intel releases their own X38 board.

I know the Bad Axe boards don't support Penryn, or DDR3 memory, but by the time I upgrade to a Penryn (if I even do) I'll just buy another board. Plus DDR3 is just too expensive for me this early in the game. I was an early adopter to DDR2 and paid out the nose for it (199 for a 2 x 256MB Hyper-X kit. OUCH). I don't plan on doing that again.

Thanks for any info you can share.

Intel themselves would most probably be late introducing their own X38 board. Manufacturers such as ASUS or MSI or Gigabyte for example would release their board real soon (this week).

The price of the Bad Axe board would not drop dramatically with the release of the X38. Its been dropping for the past few months so you would not see like a 50% drop. Maybe $5 drop. Are you going to wait a few months just to see a $5 drop?

Nope, I'm ordering tomorrow.
