I've heard people mention that on August 22nd, Intel will drop the prices of its northwood and prescott processors. Is this true? Are there any estimate figures by how much will they drop?

Exactly, now are these the Socket 478 versions or LGA775? That 3.4GHZ chip for $278.00 would be pretty sweet. Especially if I could overclock it to close to 4GHZ!
