Intel Atom okay to transcode FLAC>WAV>LAME realtime?

I run a software called Subsonic, it's a media streaming software (somewhat like Orb, but more oriented towards music). Anyway, it runs on one machine that has my music files (a mixture of different types), and you access it through a webGUI, and it will transcode everything into MP3 (either 128kbps or some other bitrate I specify). I was looking to get one of those small Atom machines (230/330) and wanted to ask if anyone knows if it will be able to handle this activity. On a desktop when I encode into LAME it does this at 10-20x normal speed, but I don't know how it scales down to Atom.
