intel application accelerator problem for i875p

I have just bought an asus p4c800 deluxe mobo, with 3ghz p4 800mhz fsb and pc3700 memory.

I can't seem to get the intel application software to install.. In the driver details tab for the ide channels are atapi.sys, pciide.sys and pciidex.sys. There is no mention of the required IntelATA.MPD' and 'Intelvsd.VXD drivers required in order to install the application accelerator, even though i have correctly installed the i875p chipset software.

My mobo is configured in the bios to operate in ide mode, not raid.

Any help would be appreciated.

The IAA version 2.3 are not compatible with the i875 chipset.

You can only install IAA version 3.0 if you are using the RAID feature of the ICH5R.

If not, you can only currently use the default Microsoft drivers.
