Is that the update to IDE interface or that program that crashes winxp. I don't remember

Speeds up a little..it updates ide drivers, and stable program to my knowledge

its useless - all it does is set your drives for DMA
which can be done in the BIOS & device manager (for some reason I believe intel boards default to PIO mode)

They give best improvements under Win2K, some consistent 10% increase in performance (boot times were measured).

Microsoft's WinXP IDE Drivers are a lot more aggressive as compared to the Win2K drivers, so the difference is not as pronounced.

It almost certainly won't work, and will probably screw something up. It's called the Intel Application Accelerator for a reason. ;)
