What is this program my Asus CD installed?

Also in XP whenever I reboot and click start I get a "new programs installed" popup. But this is not new. what do I do?

it's IDE driver files. though it's not required for WinXP, it's a good idea to use them, cause it will likely make your system faster.

as for your constant reinstalling... sounds like something is not right. maybe a reformat, reinstall is needed.

Right-click on the taskbar, select properties, select the button "customize", advanced tab...remove the check from "Highlight newly installed programs"

That should take care of it.

They gave me much trouble with cd burning in XP. After formating, I did not install the App Accelerators and burning is working fine.
