Intel and Microsoft show off 64 bit systems

Ach - but it will be expensive as hell and there's no software - yet. Kinda like when the Pentium Pro came out in 1995 and everything was still 16 bit.

I'm guessing 4-5 years will change that. By 64 bit systems I assume you mean Intel Itanium (aka Flaming Brick of Death).
