Intel and Amd CPU prices

I haven't looked at cpu prices in a looooooong time. About a week ago I read that Intel was going to drop the price of their cpu's this week.
Has that filtered down to Newegg and Mwave and other's????
I build a pc about every 3 to 4 years so you see I am way behind on pricing and the technology that is out there.

the new intel e6050 series are out but dont expect the price to be what was originaly going around the net.

Everyone is selling it about $25-$50 more right now
 
yeah I had the 6750 in my shopping cart on newegg at $199, when I hit checkout it jumped to $212, and has since jumped 2 more times. Same thing with zipzoomfly. I think I'll wait a week.
