Intel and Acronis

Or you can just use the free version of Macrium Reflect. I found it easier than Acronis- though I didn't try the pay version. Unless Acronis can correct misalignment, I see no advantage. Macrium retains, but doesn't correct misalignment.

i am making a wild guess here that if Intel had Acronis make a special version just for them that the alleged alignment issue has been well attended to.

The bigger point here is that Intel is doing more and more to gain market share in this truly exciting field. I cannot wait for the actual G3 to see how it shakes out.

FYI, I bought Acronis Home, and use it to clone my ssd OS to three backup HD's. I originally cloned an aligned 250GB WD HD to my X25-M, and it worked just fine.

I have used the latest version of Acronis to clone at least three drives in the last two weeks and alignment was maintained. If Acronis broke alignment it was in an earlier version that what is current today.
