Exactly, the comparison is a non-sequitor chosen obviously to take a swipe at intel. One could just as well call ARM the Via of laptops and desktops.

Like it or not, Intel isn't the first choice in the market he is referring to and hasnt been since Intel chose to give StrongARM up.

As Skylake is targeted at a market that ARM dominates it is a valid comparison.
