My 975 XBX2 is acting up.
I was using it with an Antec "Phantom" 350 watt, that was good enough. The Antec Phantom is one of those big fanless (silent) power supplies.
Anyway, the system stopped working, but I get the same results from a "known tested good" ATX power supply that does have a SATA connection (i.e. it's fairly recent vintage).
Do i need to get a newer model power supply like this --> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817151074

Does Core2Duo have to have ATX12V V2.3/EPS12V type power supply ?
The 975XBX2 has an E6850 CPU in it, the second generation Core2Duo.
