Intel 945GT/Intel ICH7M-DH (AOpen i945GTm-VHL) PCIe x16 Raid controller PCIe x4?

Hi All,

Hopefully someone can answer this question.

I want to put a PCIe x4 Raid controller (Adaptec 3405) in the PCIe x16 Graphics slot.

As I understand there should be no physical problems by doing this, as the x4 card will fit in the x16 slot.

But will the integrated graphics be disabled as soon as there is anything in the x16 slot?

Will the Raid actually work, or am I just being naive?
