Intel 945GM at 1680x1050

Just wondering if the Intel 945 graphics on a laptop can output 1680x1050. I lent my sister my 22" monitor and it wasn't on the list. If someone could tell me if the latest driver supports it or how to force it to 1680x1050, it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It can output 1680x1050, I'm 100% sure on that. It can even output 1680x1050 on two monitors as I've done it many times. I'm not sure how you can "force" it though as my notebook has 1680x1050 native and chances are yours native resolution isn't 1680x1050...

Her native res on the laptop is 14x9 and 16x10 was not an option. 16x12 and 16x9 were though. I just thought there was a way to force or set your own res in some inf or registry.

im pretty sure it can output 1680x1050...if it cant, try using powerstrip.
