Hi, I'm having problems installing intel's 850 chipset drivers on my machine which is running Windows 2000 and XP. The XP install of the drivers was flawless but installing in windows 2000 is a different story, when trying to install it moves a few percent and stops at 15%. Then the mouse cursor disappears and nothing happens which forced me to do a hard reboot. I have tried different 850 chipset drivers from the intel website all doing the same thing, please help. I need these drivers since I get occasional slow downs and the SmartGart is making it run at the OFF selector which I think is 1X or PCI bus speeds! Agian Please help! Thanks.
Oh BTW sony's website has no chipset drivers for windows 2000 at all... And there is even a sticker on the machine saying
Designed for Windows Me and Windows 2000......
