Intel 845G, INF chipset drivers, and overclocking

With the two long threads on the ABIT BG7 and EPoX 4G4A+, most users are now experiencing overclocking problems after installing the Intel INF chipset drivers. I have the 4G4A+, and while I can overclock to 150FSB 2.4GHz running Prime95 for hours now, my system can't even run 3DMark at 133FSB 2.13GHz after installed the INF drivers.

So is this a limitation with the INF drivers? Is this the problem with all 845G based boards? What about the 845E based boards? Those who have 845G and 845E, please share your experiences, whether you have had luck overclocking after installed the INF drivers. Thanks!

have similar experience with MSI 845G max . System 1.6A, ati 8500 64LE, corsair xms3000, winxp . With Intel inf and Intel accel o/c to 2.4 GHz, but d3d always crashes ...even when down to 2.1 GHz. Without Intel inf and Intel accel o/c to 2.51 and d3d works. Only 8000 on 3dmark 2001se presently, as the mem is X1 and lowered to 2.5,3,3,3. I think this is required mostly because the Agp and PCI are not locked.
...does anyone know if there is a "software " AGP/PCI lock?...
