hey, im getting a ca810 motherboard, with 4 meg integrated video and putting a CELERON in there. if i put PC66 ram, will it work?? i heard that PC100 ram might be needed?? is that true

thanks

It should work if you run it under 100MHz fsb. It may still work, even if you run 100MHz fsb. Most decent pc66 will do 100MHz.
You have nothing to lose by trying it.

My sister has a 500 Celeron with an i810 board that I was going to put a 128MB Kingston PC66 DIMM into. It wouldn't POST with the PC66 DIMM installed. PC100 works like a charm. All the docs I could find for it said the RAM must be PC100.
