I might plan on getting this drive, but for those of you who already own one, a question:

- Since the mobo needs to be updated with a BIOS that supports NVMe to use this drive, does that mean you'll only be able to use NVMe drives and not AHCI? I'd like to use the Intel 750 as a boot drive along with a couple of regular AHCI SSDs.

What mobo are you using?

Thanks!

You can use the PCIe version as a programs/data drive (at full speeds) on X79/IB without a BIOS update. The OS needs to be on an SATA drive (but this configuration is smokin'!).
