I'm new to SSDs. My BIOS is in RAID mode, which I'm assuming also enables AHCI. My SSD toolbox says I'm optimized and have the latest firmware as of this writing. I've followed all SSD optimizations listed here. My write performance is slow. What could I be doing wrong?

Wow. What a difficult post to read! 😱

Is it possible for a moderator to go in and tweak the tags?

Your write speeds look fine. You're running the 80GB version which will not have the same write speeds as the ones you see in benchmarks which usually are the larger-ish sizes which have the fastest writes.
