Intel 2500 water-cooled idle temps too high?

My 2500 is running at 36-37 C on idle in windows 7. Well, close to idle. It goes around 5-15% and I have around 85 processes. I don't know if that matters really, but I am wondering why it is this high. Did I seat the water block wrong? I have taken it off a few times and reapplied TIM each time, but it seems to be worse temps this time around. I used the standard TIM that came with my Rasa 360 Watercooling kit. Also, the load temps never gets above 47 when playing BF3.
Thanks,
Caleb.

That's not really too high.
You can always add more fans onto your rad. Make it pushpull

Though your temps don't seem bad at all... Perhaps seeing some other info can help see if we could improve your temps:

1) Is your CPU the only thing in the loop?
2) I assume you are using the 360 rad... RS, RX or EX?
3) What is the room temp the PC is in? And if you know, what is the temp in the case?
4) What is the orientation/setup of your fans on the rad?
5) What are you comparing the water cooled temps to? Your old air cooling setup? If so, what cooler did you use?

37 is pretty normal for a decent watercooling setup. I see people claiming they have 25 C and think "why to people live in ice boxes". The water will climb in temperature, if a well specced loop to 10C or so above ambient and then your idle temperature is at least that much warmer than ambient. In my experience the CPU temperature at idle is about 5-10C above the water temperature when overclocked. Anything in that range is pretty normal.

Ignore the idle temps and just look at the load ones. If there is a problem it'll show up there.

Water is actually worse for cooling the CPU at idle as it has another thermal material between the CPU and the air. So its not uncommon to have warmer idle temperatures but better load temperatures as its ability to transfer heat is 2x-3x better than an air cooler.

I am comparing the temps to my watercooling setup when I first got it. I had around 30 Idle at max. But the load is around the same. I think the reason why the idle is higher is due to the fact it's summer and can get a lot hotter inside thn it usually does. My ambient is around 77F now.

1-CPU is the only thing
2-I am using the RX I believe.
3-Room temp is around 75-77F
4-The fans are on the top of the rad pushing air through them into the case.
5-Im comparing the temps to what the loop got when I first had it.

that's about a normal idle temp. what's the ambient temp of the room?

my room is between 74-76 F in the summer and my idle temps are between 38-41 C. I have a 360 black ice with 1/2" tubing and push/pull scythe gentle typhoons

My ambient is about 77F. I have the standerd radiator that came with the kit, it's a thin one, not the thicker one. i have 1/2 inch tubing as well. My Rad only has fans on the top. As long as I know it's nothing bad, just weird that the temps are not the 24-30C they used to be. (One core was 30C the others were 24C. I think my CPU is a little off)
